The first decision you’ll need to make is, what diamond shape?
We’ll look at a variety of shapes, each with its own qualities, from the traditional round through each of the fancy shapes. You will also want to consider other aspects determining your diamond’s quality such as cut, clarity, carat, and color.
Wedding Bands
The wedding band signifies the realization of the engagement promise. The unbroken circle of the metal wedding band is traditional in some religious ceremonies. These are available in 14k & 18k yellow gold and white gold as well as platinum.
Looking for something slightly less traditional?
A band with texture, an engraved design, or even a combination of metals may work for you. If you prefer, many engagement rings are designed with a matching diamond wedding band. The diamonds in these bands may be set in a channel, prong set, or pave set.

Anniversary Bands
So many choices! A three stone ring may be right for a special anniversary, in the vein of “past, present, and future”. The diamonds can all be the same shape and size, or the center diamond can be somewhat larger. Actually, the side diamonds don’t have to be the same shape as the center.
If the three stone ring isn’t right for you, then consider an eternity ring, where the diamonds go all the way around the band. Again, the diamonds can be prong set or channel set, and these rings are quite beautiful.
